Forever, that is how long it has been since I've written. Yes, perhaps it has been that long but remarkable things have not changed all that much. Still working - that's a good thing, still love the work and dislike the idiot factory, fully admitting that I participate in that factor fully and far too often. There is now someone else in my department and I enjoy the companionship as much as that is possible in a busy setting and as well, I enjoy the wit.

My-sister-the-artist, having returned from a tour of Europe is now in Manitoba, reminding me of the ad for Fountain Tire .... "Going to Winnipeg", as stated by some poor sap who thought he was on a flight to Hawaii. My niece-the-associate-professor is in Montreal ... become a librarian and see the world. The cats, yes, the cats, are still with me (or "agin me", it is hard to tell some days.

My lust for things "APPLE" has been partially satiated by things "Sony". A smokin' deal that I couldn't turn down so here I am connected to the 'net typing in my blog. Does life get any better? Well ... a trifle, given that I got stood up by a paying client TWICE now!

It is still very light out and past 9:00PM so I think I will sign off here. Sleep will be a challenge given how bright it is out. Maybe, just maybe, the Phoenix can continue its rise from the ashes, yes?
